Can anyone fill me in on British houses??

What materials do they use? 8ft walls standard? basements?? Just anything you can tell me.....just curious

Basements yes, given they're mostly older homes as such would need a basement for heating.  Plaster, although perhaps wallboard for new construction or additions.  They joke about Americans and our "2 1/2 baths," so that tells you they have fewer bathrooms than Americans are used to.
