  2. Someone just asked this question which Deanri and I both answered.  I too will give you the same answer I answered on the other one...

    There are four states in the US that allow proxy marriages: California, Colorado, Texas, and Montana. The only state that allows double proxy marriages is Montana. Most of the proxy marriage laws are limited to members of the armed forces who are deployed for conflicts or wars. Some have residency requirements.

  3. This question was posted 30 minutes ago, just read down the page a little.  I'll give you the same answer I gave them.

    If you can't even make enough of a commitment to both be there for the wedding, I'm not sure you should commit to a marriage.

    Is someone overseas in the military or something? If that is the case, I would understand and you should talk to a judge or officiant about the legalities of it.
