Start paying everything on time.  You need at least 24 months of consistent, on-time payment history to improve your score.  If you don't learn to manage your finances and pay everything on time, you will never have  decent credit.

Get a copy of your credit report & start paying collections off one at a time. Also, make sure that you make your payments every month & after 12 months, your credit score should increase significantly. Don't apply for credit cards all over the place. Don't go over 50% or your credit limit.
