  1. Do you do any of your own homework?

  2. A bunch of people gather around in the same place and say, "How bout we make ourselves a country? Howabout Italia?" Democracies, Empires, Ceasar, Senates, Marco Polo goes to China and brings back Pasta and spices. Columbus discovers America and tomatoes. All of Italy rejoices and makes pizza and lasagna.

    END

  3. Ok well Roman Empire = one of the greatest Empires ever. Built skillfully and ruined easily by the stupidity of its own mistakes. Brilliantly set-up what with living structures and having started the many modernities we still use today (irrigation, buildings, roads, etc) and with military prowess n intelligence they conquered most of Europe, into the Middle East n North Africa. Most of the known world was theirs. Surrendered to Nordic barbarians coz due to their large borders not enuf was put to defend against a single out unexpected attack.

Then boring periods came up to Renaissance where art and the Light years of the time shone Italy black into splendour. At the time Italy, anad again up to the late 1800s, remained divided in small nations or better known as kingdoms. Great in the sea with major ports like Naples, Genoa, Venice, etc they produced great explorers such as Marco Polo and Cristopher Colombus (Cristoforo Colombo) the founder of America, but great artists: Da Vinco, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Raphael, etc

At the end of the 1800s revolution broke and an army led by Garibaldi travelled from the south of italy (sicily) to the North freeing the lands and uniting all the kingdoms under one for what is now known as Italy. It was still a kingdom but later became a republic in the early 1900s if I dnt temember wrong (this might not be right).

Italy messed up in the 2 WWs being with the allies in the first n the axis in the second but ending up owing their independence and life outside nascism and fascism to the US, UK n other allied countries. Italy rose and rose in progression to what it is today, going thru dark periods of the 60-70s where Communism got a foot in the country.

Then we have Italy of what it is today, known for its arts, architecture, jovial manner of life, excellent foods, wine, good sports (footbal-soccer the chief) n beautiful landscapes.

General outline from what I remember of 10+ yrs ago from school lmao
