Hi there I know I should post this in books and authors, but I will try here . I am a writer and I am having a character name dilemma. I am writing a Young Adult Fantasy, I have changed the characters names so much for one reason or another and I can't find anything that will stick with their personalities. My main character has gone from Eve , to Elizabeth, to Sarah to Ellie and that's just to name a few, the villain has gone to Lainy to Joss to Roslyn. They are sisters and I really like the last name Rose. If someone could please give me some strong names that would be great I want feminine but yet strong. Plese help

  12. Victoria - Tori - Vicky

  13. Jocelyn, Jade, Topaz (personal favorite for a villain), Theresa Rose sounds good. Hope to help

  14. It really depends on your preference...

    Here's a few though:

Imogen, Stella, Leighton, Ingrid, Garricia, Zoe, Avery, Skye, Delilah, Tierney, Amelia, Arlowa, Harriet, Charlotte, Lavadia, Kawartha, Esther...

    haha

  15. I REALLY like the name Anastasia for the main character. It's kind of unique and it sounds strong and those close to her can call her Anya which sounds unique and seems to fit a fantasy book. But I also like Eve. It sounds a little old though.

    you should try Babynames.com

Evera is pretty and it means brave one.

I also like Halle (means Heroine)

  16. Hmmm

    How about

Charlotte Rose for the good sister and

Cordelia Rose for the bad sister

Charlotte is sweet but strong and sounds like a name for a hero, and

Cordelia is feminine as well but could easily be a villain!

Plus they have a bit of a pattern so they still sound like sisters!

  17. Scarlett  Starla.

  18. bridget, it means strong... and its my daughters middle name!

  19. Layla Eve Marie

  20. Julia

    Alexis

    Leeann

    Jennifer

    Veronica

    Sharon

    Tabitha

    Vanessa

    Peyton

    Lauren

    Madison

    Andrea

    Adrienne

  21. Serenity or Persephone

  22. Charolotte

    Anne

Don't try names with an ie or a y at the end, these sound too soft and not strong.
