My son is turning 13 in September and I need a good birthday party idea. You know this is the new teen years and the boy/girl party, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. Ask your son which parties he's enjoyed most in the past year, and replicate that to the degree your budget and nerves will allow. You son knows what is fun -- let him plan the party with you and discuss costs with him. You can combine giving him some authority with learning about money. Golden opportunithy! Good luck, sweetie, and I hope you enjoy the fete as well!

  2. okay, i turned 13 this year. and tho i am 13, no one really likes the boy girl parties. but if your son does, keep it simple and NOT awkward. very easy mistake to make. have board games, pizza, movies, music, make it seem like a bunch of kids hanging out but with cake and presents. and have his friends sleep over afterwards!

  3. Have It At A Place.

    Obviously.

    With Music And Such.

    Or Video Games.

    Or Other Things Kids Do.

Or Have It At Like Chuck E. Cheese.

    Or Dave And Busters.

    Orr

    Themed?

    I'm Turning Sixteen In September

And My Party Is 80's Themed.

    Pick A Theme He Likes.

    Something He's Into.

Or Let Him Help Plan It.

    Otherwise.

Friends In A Room With Music And/Or Games

They Will Have Fun Trust Me :)

  4. how about a harvest party/hoe down.  bonfire, marshmellows. bandannas, cowboy hats, slim jims, hotdogs, rootbeer.

  5. um...nothing over the top like party hats..but something laid back that makes him feel grown up and makes you excited about his birthday...try something like a dress code...have all the guests wear white...no clowns...maybe a dj.....good luck

  6. bonfires are good for that age or just a dance party at your house a beach party also good or a pool party... something under those circumstances usually works and make it able for a lot of people to be invited that always makes it more fun

  7. well if you have a kinda big space in your house, take out all the expensive/breakable stuff, make sure you have a tv and music and get a couple dvd's and have your son make a party mix cd and have a lot of easy and good party food.

if you have a pool, just do a pool party and barbeque, and play volleyball.

if you have none of those, you could have it at a fun center place in town.

if you live in a small town, have a waterbaloon fight in your whole neighborhood or just backyard.

you could also make a fun scavenger hunt and split the group in two. Make a list of all the items they need to find (like a stick of cinnamon or a clothespin) from neighbors around the neighborhood. that would be really fun.

    hope this helped, good luck.

  8.    I am having a birthday party, this month and here is what I am going to do..Have a surprise dance party.Sneak in his room and look around ask him (if you were going to have a party who would he want to invite)So you could get ideas..Get his dad to come take him to the party sight and tell him (He is getting a birthday dinner and that he was meeting you)....

When you here the door open jump up and yell SUPRISE<br>
