  1. The north and south sides of Cornwall are quite different but most are accessible from any base in the county.

    Kennack Sands

    Flambards

    Tintagel

    Gweek seal sanctuary

    Lands End

    Crackington Haven

    Lizard and Goonhilly

    Poldark

These are some of our family's favourite places in Cornwall. Have a good holiday.

  2. The Mevagissey/Pentewan area. The South Coast has a kinder climate than the North. You could also go to Truro for shopping and Victorian Cathedral, or the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens, all good places for the children to run around, and within easy reach. The area is rich in sandy beaches.

I wouldn't take children to Newquay, can be a bit rough, and Rock/Padstow, although picturesque, are very expensive. Locals don't like Land's End either, pricey, and commercialised.

  3. http://www.thecornishcyderfarm.co.uk  this has animals that the kids can get close to and stroke, and you get to see how cider is made.

http://www.stmichaelsmount.co.uk  Boats at a hight tide and walking when its low tide they do tourist trips.

http://www.landsendswebsite.co.uk lovely and a square of various shops

and St Ives beach and the town.

Its all lovely, try a real cornish pasty and a cream tea - both traditional in Cornwall and enjoy your time there.

  4. Mmm, well, for scenery, then you must see Polperro & Fowey, The kids will love the beaches at Perranporth, Newquay and St Ives...and theres things for them to do and see at The Eden Project, and at Lands end too..there's a whole lot to pack into three days!
