Can anyone give me a list of registry sites that are free that i can find my birthmother?

I was born may 18th 1974 in syosset ny, and my mother was 16yrs old whens she gave birth to me and gave me away. My mother was born in puerto rico 1958. Spence-Chapin handled my adoption and my adoption was final nov 1977. I have contacted Spence-chapin and the case worker gave me all the information that she could give me regarding my birth mother history. Now i found my birth mother put herself in the registry and i need someone to help me or give me a list of registrys that birth parents register with to find there children that they have given away for adoption. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was born in syosset town of oyster bay which i believe is in long island New york. I dont know my birth mother name i know my given name at birth was kenneth joseph smith

  3. ask your Mom that adopted you, and if she doesnt know ask her what program you went though to find her like that

  4. Go to the Nearest Library, and visit with the Librarian, and

    she has information on the sites, in Washington D.C. and

    information for sites that connect to the State Capitol in the

    State where you live.

    If you know the area or town / county where your mother

    put her name in the Registry, or where she lives, then write

    a letter to the Newspaper in that area...to the Dear Editor,

    and they will publish it. They are always happy to help

    families be reunited.
