My wife and I want to emigrate there. We have around £300,000 in the bank, but only have experience in administration work.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

  1. if u want to come to new zealand on business visa, then u have one opportunity. i run a gas station that i am planning to sell, due to my health reasons. if u r interested and have enough finance like new zeland 350,000 dollars them u may contact me, price may be negotiated a little bit, but u will definetly get the residency after buying a reputable business.if u r interested call me at 0064 211687214 or email me. m_sirajuddin7@yahoo.com.

contact me i will explain you.

  2. Hi,

I suggest you try the government's immigration website.

    The address is:    www.immigration.govt.nz

I am in the process of applying for residency in NZ [from the UK] at the moment. The site has all the info you need about the different types of visa and the forms you need to fill in.

You will have to have a skill that's in short supply or get a job offer, though you need to start reading the website to find out which is going to be the best option for you as far as getting there is concerned. There is far too much to go into on here without knowing any more details about you. Luckily the website is easy to follow, even I had very few problems with it!!

If you live near London you could always go into New Zealand House and speak to someone there about your options. It's on Haymarket [near Trafalgar Square].  I did this and they were very helpful and didn't have a wait to be seen!

Hope this helps, your savings will certainly help with the move especially as you may well have to take some time off to go job hunting.

    See you in NZ!

  3. Have you been to NZ? it can be very quiet, depending on where you want to live, $900,000 will set you up well, nice home, and plenty left-over, have you tried the New Zealand Commission in London? rules for emigration, have now been relaxed, it should put you in good stead, and a few bob as well, is all a good plus, go for it, and, best of British luck to you both.
