i want to become a mangaka...but in the us-of-a we dont really have schools for it...how can i become a well liked professional w/out having to travel as an intern across seas?

or is interning the only option?

  1. not many I have found that teach it.... the top link may be able to give you some info... the other two links are my favs... give you good solid foundation

  2. true, in the US we don't really have definitive manga programs at most art schools, but if you study the basics of 2-d art, paint and design, and illustration, you can apply those building blocks to any art form...manga included.
