  1. do you mean, "can anyone give me advice on what would happen if i quit school?" I think you need a little more time in high school to work on your grammar.

However, if you quit school, you'd probably have to find a job like everyone else. Without a high school diploma, it probably would be harder to find a job than with one, but there are certainly lots of jobs out there which don't require much in the way of education...

  2. You should probably just stay in school. I mean, if you quit school now you will make considerably less in your lifetime, and entering the work force in this economy without a high school degree is really hard. Why would a retail store, or any kind of place higher someone without the dedication to finish high school when they have five people with not only high school diplomas, but masters and doctorate degrees applying for the same position. Let me tell you, they won't, and unfortunately that is the way our economy is right now. So stay in school.

  3. I think you should arrange to take an equivalency exam (GED) so that you have certification of a general education.  Next, I would seek employment with a company that offers at least partial tuition reimbursement (even McDonald's does this).  Then I would find a good online college program and continue my education at a comfortable pace.

In other words, education is the key to success.  If you don't like general studies, perhaps there is a skill or hobby you can develop through technical training (vocational school) - auto mechanincs, carpentry, etc.

Without an education, your chances of earning above the poverty line are extremely slim, so please continue in some way.

    Best of luck to you!

  4. Find an activity or (ugh!) a job!

  5. i wouldn't exactly support someone dropping out. but if you quit school find something that will help you survive in life because from what i was taught, education is the road to success....and for your info, most people who drop out become bums or have babies and cant afford to take care of em and waiting at the free bus's stop with a stroller and 3 kids following....not the life i or anyone with common sense would want

  6. theres days u need a diploma to get into a good job these days. unless u re talking care of a baby or a child thats yours. they will ask you when u apply to somwhere.

i would stay in school. there wont be to much to do when you quit school.

  7. Start by finding a job, a small one, then you should try to study to work in the larger companies, like... you could start as a cashier, then go on to being a banker. Once you have enough money, move out of your parents' house and find your own place. Once you have a job and a place to live, find a girlfriend, have your life, and act as if quitting was nothing.

  8. if you quit, your life will become a lot harder, but hey i cant stop you. please go onto this website before you read on! : http://www.detnews.com/2005/specialrepor...

that might maybe change your mind. but if you aren't swayed, you should maybe go into the arts, one thing that doesn't always require an education, but you might have a hard time making money

  9. Honestly, you should not quit school.  Ask yourself this; what kind of house, car, income, clothes, vacation, etc do I want to have?  Then, ask your self what kind of income do you need to earn to get that.  Next, and be honest with your self, what kind of job/career do I need to have that.  Lastly, what kind of education do you need to have to get that job, to get that income, to get that stuff.  Good luck.

  10. 19, and still in high school? Well, looks like your well on your way to becoming a burden on society.
