Can anyone give me an example of "cutting the pie" in battle?

Would like to know more about this technique and how effective it is.

  1. We called it "pieing a corner"  

    You basically think of the corner as the tip of your pie slice and you swing out along the crust shooting.  

    There's a video of some Marine Iraq vet who kills a cop using this technique.  They showed it to us at some PTSD briefing.

It is used when you are advancing around a corner with a barrage of bullets, suppressing fire!  You engage multiple targets by 'sporting' each one with spurts.  This eliminates the chance of the adversary to be able to target you directly, or effectively stopping them!  It has to be used effectively and with precision too!  Where did you get that term from?

  3. pieing corners if very effective when you have to go around corners or are clearing rooms and checking dead space.  its not the fastest maneuver out there but it is very effective. I prefer high man low man much better.
