I co-op at my daughter's preschool and my first station is the snack station. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a creative (but simple) snack to prepare for the kids. It usually includes a fruit, protein, and grain.

  1. You can type what you want into a search engine and get loads. I like fruit kabobs, celery and peanut butter(if 3yrs old) In the summer we  made coffee can ice cream...mix put inside larger can and have the kids roll it around.English muffins with strawberry cream cheese. Fruit with dip. yogurt, pretzels and cubes of cheese and fruit juice. apple sauce and ginger cookies. The list is endless.

  2. i loved [[at4]] grapes , bannas, apples all chopped in a boowl with youghurt on top plain strawberry youghurt, hope i helped or gave u an idea =]

  3. check the food network. they always have something creative. or check out foodnetwork.com if you don't have much time.

  4. Take a whole grain cereal and add in some nuts and some dried fruit pieces. Very tasty. You can also put the ''mix'' in an ice cream cone for more fun.

  5. Fruit kabobs--strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc. with multi-grain crackers on the side

  6. go to familyfun.com or even chicagoparent.com

both websites have different types of recipes for children. Have Fun!
