Im going on a domestic UK flight from Inverness to London next week and Ive looked of what and what not you're allowed to carry but all the regulations now just seem so confusing I don't know what I can take.

It said something about only being allowed 100ml of liquids. Does this really mean they would take a bottle of coke off me?

It's giving me a headche trying to read all the small print, but it seems no longer a question of what I can't take but what I CAN take.

Anything other than the clothes on my back?

  1. stop reading, pick up the phone call the airline and bam!!! you have ya answer and no headaches

  2. judging by the length of flight you are traveling, you will be flying with a small airline, therefore the baggage allowange will be lower. check on the airline website, but make sure all your liquids are in small(ish) containers in your handluggage (all other liquids pop into your hold luggage) and put them all in one of those trays they give you when you send your baggage through customs. if you don't you could get them confiscated :) ALSO if you buy stuff after getting your bags screened you can take it on as long as it isnt too big and bulky which includes food and drink. hope that helps :) :)

  3. You are allowed upto 20kg of baggage to put on the plane. I would put all your make up and perfume in this. You can also take hand luggage upto 5Kg no sharp objects or lotions, perfumes etc over 100ml. Don't put any areosols in here. You should be allowed to take a bottle of coke on with you as long as it's not opened but i would double check this when you check in.

    Hope this helped.

  4. Looking at http://www.easyjet.com/EN/Planning/bagga... I don't really see how it's that hard to understand?  Everything seems pretty straightforward to me.

Yes, they'll take a can of Coke from you, because a can of Coke is over 100ml.  You can take your bottle of perfume, if it's under 100ml.

Now you're just being melodramatic.  You can't bring dangerous stuff such as petrol, poison, or fireworks.  You probably (hopefully) have no desire to bring these anyway.  Other than that, you can bring whatever you like, as long as you stay within the size/weight restrictions that are clearly indicated on the web page.

  5. all depends on which airline you have booked with
