Can anyone give me any idea how to make a wooden nunchaku ? and how long the stick & chain should be?

I want to make my own nunchaku, coz i prefer to use what i made and not commercialized, sadly my instructor doesnt know how to make one... and i lost my 1st nunchaku and am not buying one yet

Sticks should be the length from your palm to crook of elbow. The chain or rope should be as long as the width of your hand
