Can anyone give me ideas for a sweet sixteen?

My sweet sixteen is coming up and I was either going to have a party for family and friends at like a catering hall or doing something different like go into the city and see a show or something. So I need ideas of what else to do other then a party or ideas of themes for a party. So thanks in advance y'all!

I have a lot of ideas for the party.

I don't suggest not having a sweet sixteen because that only happens once in a life time.

Its a moment you will never get back.

Sure you can have other parties but non will compare to your sweet sixteen.

I am going to give you a couple of ideas.

1. I think you should rent two rooms one for adults and one for the young people. The reason for this is because you have more fun when adults aren't around. People dance more because they know their parents aren't around watching them.

2. I think you should get a peacock blue dress. Its a color that no one uses so you will defiantly stand out.

3. The theme should be mascaraed.

4. Your flower arrangements or what ever your planing to put in the middle of the table should contain peacock feathers.(they can be fake. As long as they look real.)

5. the table cloth should be lime green or olive green so that they don't blend in with what you are wearing.

What I did was I rented 2 rooms (or more) that were joined in a motel....I had reserved the pool and reserved the breakfast eating area that night. I had tons of my friends over and we swam and ate and had all of to ourselves. It was so much fun. AND you dont have to worry about cleaning up the mess you make either.

they both actually sound fun....but ask her. would she rather have family and friends or just her close best friends?

you can all take a limo to dinner and then go dancing at a club that your age can get into or to a show.

Or if anyone has a pool you can have a pool party, order her favorite foods and cake. that'd be fun. At night time you can do fire works.

I dont even remember what I did when I was 16 lol.....

you can also do some type of fun scavenger hunt game. I played it last year.  every team has about 2 or 3 people on it. everyone needs a cell phone, a car, and a camera. and whatever team wins gets like dinner or something, and the second team that wins could get something small. thats very fun.

Well a party is always fun. Though it kinda depends on what you are into. Pick a theme or topic you really love and then bring it to life in a giant party. It might be cool to have a cruise party. Have a huge bash on a giant ship if ur classy or, my personal favorite, have it on a sailboat, that would be awesome. And if you don't care about trivial things like fancy dress, then have everyone show up casual and start the party in the water. Have a beach ball game and other water stuff. And for the night part have tons of dancing and a great band, and also maybe contests. And then when you are all eating the perfect cake you picked out, watch fireworks on the deck like a mini fourth of July just for you.

If u don't like boats well....u'll think of something
