Can anyone give me information about universities?

I am looking for a university where I can study Pediatrition.I am only 14 but I am worried about my future.I am trying to find one in houston or near. Also,I was trying to find one that has sports, such as volleyball.Thank you in advanced for your responses.

Pediatrics is a medical specialty and is practiced by a pediatrician, a general practitioner whose specialty is children from birth to 18 or 22, the age most kids are when they graduate from college.

To become a pediatrician one must go to medical school, after one completes high school and college. While in high school, you can select a college that will prepare you for and help you get into a good medical school. At age 14 you are just starting or about to start high school, so you have a few years to talk with the counselors at school about which college to go to and which medical school to go to after college.

One would need to first get a bachelor's (4 year) degree in 'something' though preferably in one of the sciences, have taken their prerequisite courses before applying to medical school and have done really well in academics and do well on the mcat (medical college admissions test) as it's extremely competitive to gain acceptance into medical school.
