Can anyone give me some answers?

My boyfriend mixes different chemicals. He mixed bleach with a degreaser. I tell him not to mix bleach with anything except laundry soap to be on the safe side. Can anyone warn him of the dangers? He thinks I just want to complain.

It is dangerous. Where I used to work, they made me mop the floor with Comet and Clorox. I almost passed out. I should have sued them, but I was young and didn't know how. It will f**k up his lungs and brain if he doesn't be careful.

He should be careful, mixing chemicals. Bleach and ammonia, for instance, can and will kill you.

Mixing Bleach with everything CAN be very very TOXIC to your lung's. Even if hes used to it its probably already done damage to his lung's and not to just his but your too.

If you mix chemicals together without knowing if you can.Then the toxins they let off can burn your lungs and the damage it causes can not be repaired.And the odor is very harmful on your animals too.

Most product say DO NOT USE OTHER HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS WHILST USING THIS PRODUCT.

FLAMABLE AND TOXICITY CAN OCCUR. THAT IS WHAT CHEMISTRY IS ALL ABOUT AND HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS ARE NO EXCEPTION.

Mixing different chemicals without knowing what is in each chemical and how each will react is a recipe for disaster. Some of the reactions can be interesting such as foaming or changing colors but the most dangerous are the ones you may or may not smell. Mixing two or more chemicals can cause a reaction that by the time you realize something is wrong, you have already inhaled it and will find yourself either unconscious or dead. The consequences could affect him for the rest of his life. Imagine a life of chronic respiratory, or neurological issues. Forget about living a normal life after that.

If he wants to mix chemicals, do the homework by getting a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) report first so you know what your dealing with.
