Can anyone give me some tips for middle school

Question

i am starting middle school in about 2 weeks. Do you have some tips for anything? It doesn't matter what kind of tips, just about anything will help just about now. And please, no criticism.

As much as this sounds cliche, be yourself, be NICE, be organized, be funny and outgoing. (:

ALSO, never try too hard to make friends, it gets kinda pushy. The right friend won't push you away, but pull you in.

Well all i can tell you do your work first and then chill this got me threw middle school with honor roll. Now iam in high school.

I am going into my last year of middle school, and I've learned alot. Here are my tips:

1. Be kind and friendly

2. Ignore insults

3. In 6th grade, don't tell anybody something super duper secret!!

4. Don't trust that friends will stay with you. Mine moved away...:(

5. Use your head.

6. Try to get good grades.

don't worry about grades. they have a  much larger margin of error (especially in middle school) than making friends. cliques form fast, and as much as people say don't join cliques, for the most part if you want to have a group of friends you're going to need to be part of a group. don't worry about lockers or classes or any of the things like that because they really are no big deal. teachers expect you won't know what to do, so they will tell you what to do. and everyone will be nervous, so if you can manage to not be nervous and focus and be friendly to people and make friends the first few days you will come out ahead and be glad you made friends for the rest of middle school.

if you were fairly popular in elementary school you should do well, and if you weren't popular then you have a chance to change that, just focus on making new friends, not just meeting up with the same people from elemenaty

Well middle school is nothing like you think it would be I am going into my last year of middle school on monday. You can still hang out with people from elementary and be nice to everybody so you can make a lot of friends I have a lot but it took me 2-3 months to be friends with almost evrybody at my school. Don't be scared on your first day just relax and have fun and people say don't hang out with crews but you should who you hang out with represents who you are as soon as you get to school crews will get together real fast and it's hard to get into one if your not already in one.   You can judge someone but not asap because a few of my friends told me when they first saw me they thought I was a b**** but when we started talking we ended up becoming best friends. Middle school is hard thing but once you get there you will get use to it might sound like I am trying to scare you but I am not trying to scare you and don't listen to no one who tries to scare you might be scared on your first day but that's normal and ok..... hope I could help
