Can anyone give me the basics and ins and outs of IPODS?

I have heard a lot about downloading music to the IPOD. Well, what is an IPOD and can the music be downloaded to another source if you don't want to listen through headphones. HELP?!

to download music to your ipod or other device find a video on youtube and copy the URL and paste it at www.clipnabber.com and click nab video and it will have it allready in the right format just right click and save target as... and save it to your computer then go to itunes click add new file under the file tab and locate the saved file click open and there you go
