Can anyone give me the basics in politics these days?

What are Obamas views, his strengths, and weaknesses. And the same for Biden, Palin and McCain.

And try to just give me facts instead of just opinions please : ) I just wanna know because I will be 18 by the time elections come - I dont want to be one of those people that just votes for the person they've seen on tv the most lol

Obama community activist, he got a law degree and got the people to vote. Ran in the corrupt Chicago politics,got into the senate, did not write any of his own legislation,but he wrote two autobiographies about himself. Biden has been in politics for a long time he is quite outspoken and makes a lot of gaffs.They are extremely left of center,on the ideas of europe socialist.Read Carl Marx they have a lot in common. McCain is a Republican that never followed the party line. His nickname is the Maverick.He was a politician that would go after pork barrel spending. Palin is more of a Reagan Republican, Cut spending(wasteful) she sold the Governors airplane because she said that was a waste of taxpayers money. smart follows the constitution,not Marxism.
