  1. Ok I was active Marine Corps but I hope this will help. Once you graduate from Boot Camp (you will be going to Parris Island) You have 2 weeks of leave and then you will report to either the School of Infantry or Marince Combat Training for all other MOS.

MCT will be at Camp Lejuene and its about 18 days long. After that you will be transported to your MOS School (example Field Artillery is at Fort Sill Oklahoma) Your time there will depend on how long your training is. Once that is over you will be assigned to your unit and you will have to report in to your reserve command. Once that is done and you go through what they need you to do you will be given your first drill date and time for formation.

    Hope this helps

  2. After boot camp I believe they have to go to their MOS school.  After that isn't is like one week end a month anfd 2 weeks every year?  And they are called to active duty if needed?

  3. Boot camp..13 weeks

    10 days leave

If your MOS is NOT infantry you go to MCT?SOI for about 3 weeks..

If your MOS is infantry you go to ITB/SOI for about 2 months.

After MCT you go to your schooling for whatever length it is..

After your schooling reserve Marines go home and report one weekend a month and two weeks or so in the summer..

And if you went to boot camp in San Diego then your MCT or infantry school will be at Camp Pendleton, CA..

If you went to boot camp at Parris Island then your MCT or infantry school will be at Camp Geiger Camp Lejeune, NC
