  1. INGREDIENTS:

    1 medium. cauliflower clean and broken into big florettes.

    1 small bunch spring onoin finely chopped

    2 tsp. ginger finely chopped

    1 tsp. garlic finely chopped

    1/4 cup plain flour

    3 tbsp. cornflour

    1/4 tsp. red chilli powder

    2 red chillies, dry

    3 tbsp. oil

    1 1/2 cups water

    1 tbsp. milk

    METHOD:

    Boil the florettes for 3-4 minutes in plenty of water, to which a tbsp. of milk has been added.

    Drain and pat dry on a clean cloth.

    Make thin batter out of flour and 2 tbsp.cornflour, adding 1/4 tsp. each of ginger and garlic and red chilli powder and salt to taste.

    Dip the florettes in the batter one by one and deep fry in hot oil. Keep aside.

    In the remaining oil, add remaining ginger, garlic and crushed red chilli and fry for a minute.

    Add the salt and spring onions.

    Stir fry for a minute. Add 1 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil.

    Add 1 tbsp. cornflour to 1/4 cup water and dissolve well.

    Gradually add to the gravy and stir continuously till it resumes boiling.

    Boil till the gravy becomes transparent. Add florettes and soya sauce.

    Boil for two more minutes and remove.

    Serve hot with noodles or rice.

    1 pcs: Cauliflower (medium, clean and broken into big florettes)

    1/4 cup: Plain flour

    3 tsp: Cornflour

    1 small bunch: Spring onion (finely chopped)

    1 tsp: Garlic (finely chopped)

    1/4 tsp: Red chilli powder

    2 no: Red chillies (dry)

    1 tsp: Milk

    1 medium Gobhi (Cauliflower)

    3/4 cup Flour (Maida)

    1 tbsp Corn Flour

    Salt to taste

    1 Chopped green chili

    11/2 tbsp Garlic Paste

    11/2 tbsp Ginger Paste

    1 cup finely Chopped Onions

    Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves

    1/4th tsp Ajinomoto

    2 tbsp Soya Sauce

    2-3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

    2 tbsp Oil

    Preparation of gobhi manchurian :

    Make a paste of maida, corn flour and salt using water.

    Take a tsp. of ginger and garlic paste, add it to the paste.

    Dip the gobi florets in the paste and deep fry till golden brown. Keep aside.

    Heat oil in another pan and add the left ginger & garlic paste, chopped onions and green chili to it.

    Now, mix aginomoto, soya sauce and tomato sauce to it.

    Add fried Gobi kept aside and mix well. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve the gobi manchurian hot.

  4. here is a video for gobi munchurian with lots of tips. if you want it with gravy add more water to it. it's very delicius with fried rice or hakka noddels. i got water in my mouth only think about it.

  6. For 1/2kg gobi

    Mix well 3 tsp corn flour with 2 egg whites. Add 1 tsp soya sauce, spinkle little black pepper powder and salt to taste. Mix this paste with the gobi pieces. and keep aside for marinating say 1 hr.

    Deep fry the gobi and keep aside in a strainer.

    In the meanwhile fry finely chopped garlic at least 20 big buds. After the garlic has half fried add finely chopped 4 long deseeded green chillies. and fry. When well fried add 2 cups of water. Sprinkle little pepper powder, add 1/2 chicken maggi cube, 1 tsp soya sauce and bring to boil. In a bowl take about 4 tsp of corn flour and mix well in little water and put the mixture in the utensil. Take care to stir well while pouring the corn flour mixture to avoid forming into balls. If the gravy so formed is not thick enough than repeat the corn flour mixture adding.

    Add the fried gobi, stir, bring to boil, check seasoning and off the gas flame.

    Enjoy with rice or bread or roti

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 Medium Gobi/Cauliflower - cut into florets

    1/2 cup Cornflour

    1/2 cup All Purpose Flour/Maida

    2 Tbsp Soy Chili Sauce

    2 Tbsp Green Chili Sauce

    1 tsp hot Red Chili Powder

    3 Tbsp Tomato sauce

    1/2 Capsicum- Sliced lengthwise

    1 Big Onion -Sliced

    1 tsp Butter -melted

    4 Garlic Cloves- Chopped finely

    1 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic-Green chili paste

    2 Green chilies - Chopped finely

    1/2 inch Ginger- Sliced into thin strips

    Oil for deep frying

    METHOD:

        * Mix cornflour+ maida + Garlic-Green chili paste + melted hot butter+ salt( as per taste) along with little warm water to make a thick paste.

        * Dip Cauliflower florets into this paste and deep fry them until golden brown and set them aside.

        * Now in a kadai heat little oil and fry onions till transparent.

        * To this add chopped garlic cloves and fry them until transparent.

        * Now add green chilies and ginger and then add in capsicum and fry them for a min.Note that capsicum should still remain crispy.

        * Now add soy sauce+ chili sauce+ tomato sauce+ red chili powder and saute it for a few secs.

        * To this add about 3 tbsp of water and the above fried and cooled gobi bajias.( Tip: Bajias should not be hot here. This is to maintain the crispiness even after added to the sauce mixture)

        * Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.

        * Enjoy!!!

    maida- 1/4 cup

    capsicum-1 big

    tomato puree-1/2 cup

    ajnamoto- 1/2 tsp

    soya sauce-1 tsp

    Cook the florets till just done. Mix maida, corn flour, ajnamoto-1/4 tsp, soya sauce-1/2 tsp  and dip the florets and deep fry them till gloden brown.Set aside.

    Heat oil in a pan and add finely chopped garlic and then add chopped onion and green chillies  till the onion is soft. Then add chopped capsicum and tomato puree cook the capsicum is just done and then add ajnamoto and soya sauce and when all mixes well add the fried florets and switch off the stove.
