Question:

Can anyone give me the words and actions of the 'Haka?'?

Preferably the Fijian version, but if you know others then great! Any interpretaion would also be welcome.

  5. Haka's take various formats. New Zealand have had different ones over the years. Fiji, Tonga,Samoa {Formerly Western Samoa} Papua New Guinea are the ones you may have heard of. They are part of the heritage of these South pacific Island nations, I would not enter into attempting one in piblic especially in one of these contries as it  probably offend them. You Tube has various Haka's for you to look at. Look into the older ones as well & you will see the difference.  Go also to the individual Rugby countries web sites for  more. I have played rugby in New Zealand and know the impotance placed upon it. They even have schools Haka competitions. I had the privilege of visiting a school in Christchurch where the whole school of over 700 did a Haka as a tribute to the team.
