  1. There's some good science behind Glucosamine and arthritis.  Here is some info http://www.cncahealth.com/health-notes.h... and some links below.

  2. Glucosamine has shown to help those suffering from arthritis.  It is best taken in liquid form because the absorption rate is much higher compared to pill form (90% vs. 15%).  There is a product that provides it in liquid form with the recommended daily serving of 1500mg.  It also contains 19 different fruits and offers an amazing anti-inflammatory response.  Combined with the glucosamine it has helped many people decrease their pain from arthritis.  I have osteo arthritis in my spine (I am only 37) and have been using this product since last August.  It has made a significant difference in my life.  Here is the site I go to purchase it.  Good luck!

  3. I really began to believe that Gl. was effective after the vet recommended it for our Labrador, who was really suffering.  We began giving it to him and it made a HUGE difference in his life.  It actually helped him live a normal dog life (minus chasing squirrels) he could manage the stairs and follow the kids around again.  In the beginning, we ran out of it and all the symptoms came back.  After that I made sure we never ran out.

I know with herbal cures they always point to it being a placebo effect etc, but since it was a dog, he didn't have a clue that the pill was supposed to help.
