Can anyone give me updates on the Tropical Storm.?

Does anyone know updates on the tropical storm hitting Tampa florida? I heard It's gonna be a Tropical Storm hitting not a hurricane. And I can't find the weather on verizon.

yup,just a tropical storm,it has already moved inland,no serious damage just a lot of rain,its predicted to keep moving up fla.and the Eastern seaboard,no worries

The storm's movement has decreased to 8 mph to the north-northeast. At 1 p.m. the storm was located near Moore Haven, Florida.

A decrease in forward speed and turn to the north is expected Wednesday. On this track, Fay should move over water near the east coast of North Florida tomorrow morning.

Surface observations and radar data indicate the storm's maximum sustained winds are now near 65 mph, with higher gusts. Some fluctuation in intensity is likely as Fay moves inland over Florida. Some restrengthening is expected once it moves back over water.

A Tropical Storm Warning for the west coast of Florida has been discontinued.

A Tropical Storm warning remains in effect along the east coast of Florida from north of Ocean Reef to Flagler Beach..including Lake Okeechobee.
