Is it safe to give credit/debit card details, if you don't recognise the firm advertising on Teletext.

  1. I always book my holidays this way, even my honeymoon last month.

If you are in any doubt whatsoever about a company, you can check it with ABTA, then your holiday is covered by them, if they are not ABTA bonded you have no recourse if they go 'bust'.

I always pay by Credit Card not Debit, because you are covered a second time by the credit card company.

  2. My uncles used teletext holidays loads over the years for late bookings, he's never had a problem and always had great hotels and a great time x

  3. Not sure, hun. Its safe to book holidays over the internet, or on the phone, since that is the way i book mine, and nothing has ever happened before. Sorry if i was not much help. x
