i made a home video of me giving birth to my daughter yesterday. (yes, she FINALLY came at 41 weeks + 3 days). but as i was watching it back for the 30th or so time, i realised that my sister had recorded something new on the video. now, i dont mind that, but she had actually accidentaly taped over the crucial moment of my daughter being born!!!!!! can anyone tell me if i can go to a shop or anywhere that they could maybe edit the video so they could get back the original footage. as you could imagine , this is a very important video to me so i need all the advice i can get. i need the names of places (if any) that can do this that are in the UK, London.

I experienced something like that but what I did is just to accept what happened.

Sorry, but there's nothing you can do to get the video back.  You should set the write protect tab on the tape now so that no more gets erased, and get the tape backed up asap.  You can edit the remaining footage and maybe narrate something about the birth itself.
