I live in michigan and I'd say it was about the size of a quater. We have a ton of baby spiders now crawling all over this room. We sprayed the room with spider killing stuff & most of them are dead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a ton.

I'm just gonna give a direct link to the photos 'cause Idk what html to use.

  1. It's a type of jumping spider.  Here is a link to picture of one (it is not the same species, but you'll still see the resemblence) http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http...

Jumpers are not harmful, so no need to panic.  Still, I understand why you wouldn't want hundreds of them inside your house.

  2. It looks like tarantula to me.  It might ran away from the insectarium or something like that.  Maybe you should call local zoo.  My husband is an emergency doctor.  He told me that one time he had patient bitten by spider.  They brought spider in a closed jar.  Spider was send to the insectarium and identified by specialists.  Stay away from them until you know what it is.

  3. what you have there is a large species of jumper spider ,they tend to end up in your house wile they are looking for food.then if they seem to find a place they like they will make a nest and lay a bunch of eggs!don't worry they are harmless but they may tend to bite you in your sleep so try to kill them all ro you may wake up one dat with a few spider bites!

  4. ID it here -

  5. That's a jumping spider, family Salticidae. They're completely harmless. The kids in my mom's day care play with them out in the backyard. There's also no need to spray a bunch of chemicals in your house (which are more dangerous than the spiders themselves) if you don't want a bunch of them in your house it's easy enough to vacuum them up. The force of the vacuum will kill them so they won't be crawling back out and you won't need to use the spray.
