I would research the ports you will be stopping at and see if there is anything you must do. You can either book through your cruise line or do your own search of activities and book directly on web sites on line.

It's best to have an idea of what things cost by checking different websites, so you don't get ripped off. One thing you should be aware of is if you book a excursion with your ship and the excursion is delayed coming back to the ship, the ship won't leave you. If you book with others and your delayed your on your own till you catch them at the next port. So make sure you  get back in a timely matter.
