  2. it's normal some people have it once a month or even once a year like my teacher whe she was young and my period i haved mine for more than a month and that was not normal so i went to the doctor and they took my blood to look at it and now i'm a animic so i consider you lucky at least you don't have to take pills.

  3. Well, if you're now getting your period, you should make an appointment with a gynecologist if you haven't seen one already. Many women have an irregular period...its not that uncommon. However, you should see a doctor so it can be regulated.

  4. well the 1st year you have your menstrual cycle its a little funky! but you did get yours a little late - i think everything should be ok, but if you still think somethings wrong see a doctor asap because you know your body better than anyone else! also try to look on kidshealth.org they have alot of good information for kids and teens!

  5. if you haven't had sexual intercourse with a man since st. Patric's day then you are fine unless you are pregnant with the next jesus in which case congratulations.

  6. i think it's normal because your body is just getting used to having your period so i probobly wouldnt worry about it

  7. It's completly normal.

It's going to be irregular for maybe about a year? It just depends on the person.

but it's Completly normal, don't worry about it.

  8. It's perfectly normal. Your period won't be regular until 3 years after you start it. Even then it won't be completely regular. So relax, it happens to everyone. This website is pretty helpful with dealing with these issues too. It helped me when I was younger anyway...

I hope that helps! Good luck.☺

  9. It is perfectly normal. Your body just needs to get used to it. Listen to your mom, she knows all. Don't listen to some of these people's answers.

  10. You are probably fine. I started my period when i was 12, and im now 17. It takes a good 2 years to get into a steady cycle, ive skipped as many as 4 months. I'm sure your fine.

  11. Don't worry, be happy. I've met some women who only have their period once every second month anyway... and I say they're lucky!! Every woman is different. We start our periods at different times, and we experience them differently. It is perfectly normal for it to start off a little bumpy.

If you are really feeling anxious about it, ask your mom to take you to the doctor for a check-up. It's kinda yucky the first time, but you can have your Mom there with you, or if that makes you uncomfortable, ask for a nurse to be in the room with you when the doctor does the examination.

Good luck sweetie. Welcome to the wonderful world of womanhood!

  12. awww dont worry bout it. im almost 16 too. and i got my period in 6th grade and it cape like whenever it wanted to. now it got regular and its all good. dont worry. just takes time. hope you fell better after reading this.

  13. it could be your period is still finding the next time to strike lol.

no worries. your mom is right

  14. you don't have aids! it's normal during the first year not to have it regularly. i got mine last year and i'm still not regular. it's perfectly normal, nothing to worry about.

  15. Your mom is right. When you first start your period, it isn't always like clockwork. I was just like you - started my period at age 15 and dealt with irregular cycles.

If you're really concerned about it, birth control pills (whether you're having s*x or not) can help regulate you.

    Good luck!

  16. It's normal...it's just your body taking time to adjust

  17. Ya it is normal. That happened to me. And I went to the doctor because I was scared, and they said it is natural. Your body is just getting used to it. It may not start again for another couple months. But you should start carrying stuff with you for when you do start. So your prepared. :)

  18. Yes, it's okay.  In your early menstrual years, periods are often irregular.  Not to worry -- it will start to come regularly.  Just be prepared all the time for it since you don't have a schedule yet.

  19. Your moms right it is normal.

& you shouldnt have anything to worry about if your not sexually active!! =] so relax!

you should be happy your not getting it! haha =]

  20. Oh my gosh, do not listen to smaked out on ice, what a loser.  It is very normal, i got mine nearly a year after i had my frist.

  21. Thats a pretty long time from your last period. well usuallly in the first two years of your period it will be irregular, its not the same for every girl but is very common. If you don't have your period in about a month or longer maybe you should get it checked out because there could also be a bigger problem, pregnancy or serious diseases like polycystic ovarian syndrome. You can always just go to the doctor and ask more about you period.

    Hope this helps.

  22. its very normal!

the 1st 6 months will be messed up like that.

you might not even have it again at all until then.

    dont worry:)

  23. Yes, it  happens  that  way  sometimes. Just  be  prepared  as  next  may come as a  surprise.

  24. your period should be really irregular this year. One time my friend didn't get hers for a whole year. So don't worry. Unless your having s*x, then there is always the possibility that your pregnant.

  25. Unless you're having s*x, and unprotected s*x at that, you shouldn't freak out too much.  Make a doc appointment and talk to a professional if you are worried.  Privacy laws and all that.

  26. Stay off web MD!! It will only make u worried...go to a real gyno or real doctor not the internet to get answers! It could be a number or things..most likely your fine and its a hormone thing but you need to double check it with a real MD.

  27. If you are not sexually active than you have nothing to worry about, if you are i would take a home pregnancy test.

  28. its really normal don't worry, you won't stop developing untill your about 21 years old altogether, you might not even get another period for a year or so, its perfectly normal, your hormones are probablly all over the place, unless you have been having unprotected s*x or have lost 20% of your body weight within a small amount of time lately you havent a thing to worry about :)

  29. Your mom is right. This is perfectly normal when you first start having your period. For the first couple of moths you may skip some of your periods but after a little while your body will get used to it and you will have it every month

  30. its normal to get one period then not get another one till months later the first year. dont freak unless you have been having s*x

  31. thats kind of a long time to go without your period.

    could u be pregnant?

maybe see a doc if you dont get it in the next couple mo.
