Can anyone help me find a Barbera d'Asti wine?

I don't know the winery it came from, but I had a Barbera d'Asti wine on board a cruise ship (Regent Seven Seas, if that helps anybody) a week ago in Italy. It had a black label with red script writing. I know that's VERY vague, but I liked it so much that I'm on a mission to find it now.

If not, you should do one of two things:

1) Contact www.barbera.it (link below). There is a link on their homepage for e-mails, and you can write to them in English.

2) Contact Regent of the Seas and ask them. If I were you, I'd d this because they will know what wines they serve on their boats. See if you can get the e-mail or phone number of someone at the restaurant where you had the wine. I was on a cruise last year and had the same thing happen to me (with a beer, though). I looked forever for this beer and this year, cruising once again with the same company, I asked them where I could find it and came to find out that it was a special beer from Belgium bottled only for the cruiseline.

I've had some California Barberas which are REALLY good, but they're hard to find:)  Try a good local liquor store.....
