Can anyone help me find info about a Josephine Thurman or Thurmann?

Question

She would have been born in the late 1800's. She lived in Nebraska as an adult but was supposedly born in Kansas. She was maried to a man named Ivan Winslow and they had 4 daughters together. Any info you could provide would be truly appreciated. This is for my almost 86 year old grandmother.

I could find only one reference for a Josephine THURMANN that could fit.  This person was born about 1897/1898 and in 1900 and 1910 lived in Illinois.  Her parents were Christian and Mary from Denmark and she had 4 siblings - Henry, Anders, Anna, and Nellie...She was the 2nd born.

Could this be Ivan Winslow's family? This would be from the 1900 U.S. Census and Ivan would be a child.  This Ivan seems to be living at home both in the 1910 and 1920 U.S. Censii, as well.  If so, this gives you information on his parents and siblings. Notice that the given names morph a bit, but it is the same family. Ivan's middle or first initial seems to be the letter "C", not the "G" shown in the 1920 U.S. Census.  I am basing this on the fact that the 'C' is used in his WWI Draft Registration Form.  He is single at that time, so, no mention of Josephine.
