Can anyone help me find out what type of insect I have found?

I caught an insect in my garage and it is very interesting. It is a winged insect with 4 wings 2 on each side of its body similair to a dragonfly. It's body is about 1 and 3/4 in. long and 1/4 of an inch wide. the wings are about 2 in.long and about 1/2 an in. wide. It is all brown with a hard body. It has feelers like a lightning bug each feeler is 1/2 an in. long. Thank you for your answers.

You have an adult. ant lion.

They have an interesting life span. the young look nothing like the adults and are sort of squat, fat and hairy with big jaws. They  built pits in the sand and burrow at the bottom of the pits. These pits trap ants that walk into them and the ant slides to the bottom of the trap in which the ant lion eats it. Later they turn into  the adult bug in your garage. The adults pretty much just mate, lay eggs  and die.

The young are also called doodlebugs.
