I work at a motel and there are flea infested cats living on the property, I've looked all over the internet trying to find a place that will come and catch them without harming them, this is very serious! Will someone please help me find a place here in austin that will catch them? We are willing to pay! Thank you very much!

  1. Austin Humane Society has a feral cat program. They will catch and spay/neuter. They do use traps and usually at night, but that's the best way to do it.

Maybe you can add some flea preventative to their food. Be sure to put out water in several areas. As soon as they are spayed, you will see fewer cats  over time and new cats won't come to live since they are territorial.

  2. 972-6090 Animal Control. They'll come scoop em all up.

  3. Animal Trustees of Austin also has a feral cat program, you could try contacting them as well.  http://www.animaltrustees.org/

Like the other person said, it's best to have them trapped, spayed/neutered then released again in the same area.  The spay/neutering will help keep the cat population down, and keeping them there will prevent other cats from moving into that area.  If you keep catching cats and removing them, you're just going to have more cats moving in.
