Question:

Can anyone help me identify the bug i found?

it look like a dragonfly but really smaller (and cuter), and at its tail their 2 long kinda like threads (dunno how to says it really but thats the best thing i could compare it) so can anyone help me identify it

  1. This is a real mayfly.  There are other insects of similar appearance with the "tails".

  2. Sounds like a Mayfly/Coffin fly-Ephemeroptera. They range in size from less than 1/2" to 3-4" and appear in the Spring and Summer. The adult-winged form does not eat. After reproduction they die. Mayflies are an essential part of Bats, Frogs, Toads and Fish diets. I have been told in the past that lack of them, or low numbers is an indicator of pollution. They are usually found near water but show up under porch lights as well.

  4. A damselfly.....I love them!!!!  When we were "tubing" on a river years ago, they were landing all over us and you can't even feel then on you.
