I'm having some issues with identifying the names of these monocots for a biology project. Any help would be appreciated.

This one is a ground plant that is about two feet across and about 2-2 1/2 feet tall.

This one is small and cactus-like. It is about 4-5 inches across.

Again, I would be really grateful for any help. Thank you in advance!
