It seems to like partial sun and does well by ferns and hostas. It has white coneshaped flower clusters similar to those on a butterfly bush, but it doesn't have the barkish stem my butterfly bush has. It returned a second summer with no effort on my part. (I have a photo but don't know how to insert it here!) The leaves are long, smooth, and narrow, shaped like very skinny tear drops. It's not a bushy plant; it presents a narrow profile. It blooms from late june until fall.
