How much help do you need?

There's a lot of information on the internet. Google "NEBOSH" (National Examining Board for Occupational Safety and Health) and look for information on courses to pass their exams - the course syllabuses will give you an idea of the key areas you will need to cover and you can then use those 'key words' to search some more.

ROSPA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, also has a role in OS&H so have a look at their web-site too.

Finally (else I could go on), if you join a trade union and become a staff representative or shop steward, you could go on Trade Union courses that would teach you a lot of what you need to know.
