Can anyone help me out with a few new study tip?

I'm really good with studying with a friend, but by myself, I have absolutely NO determination! Unless it's a very interesting topic, then that's fine, but what do I do about the boring stuff?

I know about this because I have been there. It is a matter of disciplining yourself to do it even if you don't want to and keeping in mind your grades really do matter.
