Can anyone help me?

I am looking for my half brother. He was adopted at a Chicago adoption center. His birthday is August 15, 1980. I'm pretty sure he was adopted that day. My DOB is August 28, 1992. He was adopted by an evangelist. His mother (my mom) was born August 21, 1960. She hasnt been able to find him. So if anyone has any info on adoption records of that time please help me out.

Try looking in the adoption section.  They may be of more help.  We research dead people here, not living.

This is something I did many years ago when I was trying to locate my grandmother's baby sister.  (My grandmother's father put up the baby  for adoption after his wife died at childbirth. )

My grandmother never was able to locate her- and it was something that I wanted to find out.  

         - I asked an editor of a local newspaper to put in the editorial section my question and included  as much information I had.  And, tho and behold, I was soon in contact with the children of my grandmother's sister.  (The sister had passed away).    

I would give this a shot.  If not successful here, then check out some of the adoption sites on the web for ideas.  Good luck.
