Can anyone help me remove the manufacturer's link (sony vaio) on my startup menu? its called experience vaio?

hi all,

can anyone help me remove the manufacturer's link (sony vaio) on my startup menu? its called experience vaio and u cant delete it by right-clicking it. Also, i checked my documents and settings/start menu folders to delete it but couldnt find it. Also checked customize start menu, and couldnt find a solution. Im running windows XP prfessional corporate. Thanks guys.

  1. Check the properties on the shortcut within startup, and search for that file.  Delete it from there.  Or you might be able to remove it from Add/Remove programs within the control panel.


  2. i don't know if you can delete it,but you can stop it from starting up when you start your computer.go to Start,click run,type in msconfig,when the box comes up,go to the top tab labeled Start-up and click that.now look now the list and uncheck all programs you don't really need to start at start up,look for anything that has to do with sony.i'll still continue to try to find a way to delete it.have you looked in add and remove and see if is was there.need more help email me.
