Hi! I have a beautiful rose which has dual coloured petals. It is like white on the underside of the petal and red on the inner side.

But the problem is that it is dying and I cannot find another of the same kind. It is monsoon season right now but the plant still doesn't have no leaves.

Can someone please give me some advice which may help my plant?

The plant is a graft, stand about 1 and a half feet tall with 3 branches and is 3 years old.

  1. Roses need plenty of sun and water but I found that they love the potassium in bananas, epsom salt, and coke a cola. At the begining of the spring I make sure I put a teaspoon of epsom salt at the base of the plant but not so close as to burn the stem and water. About a month later I burry a banana skin or whole rotten bananna again close to the base of the plant. About a month later I then water with a can of coke a cola ( they like the sugar so do not use diet ). I have been doing this for a few years and I have the most beautiful roses in my neighborhood. Good Luck

  2. Yes try what the others say! I have no knowledge about this topic. Lol! ;)

  3. Take a used piece of steel wool, (preferably one that has started to rust) and soak it in  a quart of water for one week.

Throw the steel wool pad away, and then every time you water your roses add two tablespoons of the steel wool water to your rose water.  It acts as a boost of iron for your rose.  You should see your rose start to thrive really well.

    Good Luck.
