Ideally, I want to buy land with no restriction (((on square footage of site built homes))) .

(Oddly, even land where you can place a delapidated 40 year old single wide doesn't allow me to build a 600 square foot cottage. It's ridiculous.)

OR as a plan B.

I'd like to buy a house under 75,000.

Help.

No matter where I search that is stated as the "entire" mls directory, I always find something that wasn't there when I stumble upon agency's sites.

  1. If you truly want bare Land, I would recommend doing a simple google search for St. Clair Co land. A lot of these seller's do not advertise on MLS. For example the large unrestricted parcels are mostly now zoned agriculture, and owned and managed my land mangers. Therefore, these are not put on MLS, but may be for sale. Here are a few

    Kesslerland.com

    landwatch.com

If you are interested in other counties across the southeast look at

    resourcemgt.com

  2. YOu can do this.  But you may have to do it yourself.  THere is not much currently for sale.  You would have to knock on the door of some farmers or landowners and ask if they would sell you 1 acre or 20 acres. In rural areas you could buy 20 acres for $40,000 and have no retrictions on what you build. /

  3. I just read an ebook here that'll help you avoid making some popular mistakes
