Can anyone help me to find the right camera? Please?

Okay, I am an amateur photographer with a digi sony camera. But what I really want are those black cool cameras with the lenses you adjust. The expensive ones in short. I just have NO idea where to start and what the best one would be. I am seriously amateur and just want help to try find a good camera model. I have no idea where to start so I could REALLY use some help :).

What you're used to is called a "point-and-shoot" camera.

What you're talking about is an "SLR" camera.

Its commonly accepted that Canon and Nikon make the best digital SLR cameras. There are big fans on each side, but either one is good. Just pick the model thats closest to your price range.

Depending on how much money you have, you should maybe look at a Canon Rebel.

Those are really good and the lens are easy to work and understand.

I agree with Sarasota. Go to a camera store and play around with the entry level Digital SLR's from Canon and Nikon. The one that feels best in your hands and has the controls in a logical place for you is the camera you should get.

Some models to look at would be.

Canon Rebel XTi or XSi

Nikon D40 or D60
