Can anyone help me understand MINIMUM INNINGS PITCHED?

Each week, my pitching staff must total a minimum of 7 innings pitched. If you fail to reach this mark, you will lose all of your pitching games for that week. right now i'm at 2 for the week! how do i achevie 7 innings aweek?

When your pitchers pitch.  For each Inning your pitcher pitches it counts toward your 7 Innings minimums pitched.

Once you have reached that total, your Pitching Stats for that week will count.  If you fail to have your pitchers pitch 7 Total Innings, then all your Pitching Stats will not count for that week and your opponent will win all of the Pitching Categories.

Its very simple.  All you need to have happen is for your active pitching staff to accumulate a total of 7 or more innings pitched throughout the week.  7 is a VERY low number and should be no problem to reach.  Most teams probably reach 7 innings though relief pitchers alone.  Starters will get you 7 IP in 1 start.

It isn't really anything to worry about.  If you have at least 1 starting pitcher who starts a game during the week and 1 relief pitcher who isn't on the DL, you should meet the minimum of 7 innings.  This is designed to stop those who would game the system by having 1 middle reliever who rarely gives up any runs as their pitching staff, winning 2 of the pitching categories every week and gaining extra slots to store more hitters.  If you have a full pitching staff of at least 7 pitchers (2 starters, 2 relievers, and 3 more of either), you should never miss the minimum or even come close to missing it.  There is actually a popular strategy in head-to-head leagues that is based upon flooding your roster with SPs to win the Win and K categories every week.

What I don't understand is the maximum games played and maximum innings pitched rules of Yahoo's roto leagues.  Shouldn't that be a minimum number of games played and innings pitched over the course of the season?
