Can anyone help me understand this?

I have a friend that is in Iraq, and I lost his e-mail address.I know his name but I am having a hard time remembering the rest of it. I think it is something like ..... (his name)@iraq.centmail.mil

Im just wondering if anyone knows this site or if it is .com , I am getting mailer demons

  1. Usually, especially in the Army, the good rule of thumb is First name dot last name at us.army.mil or First.last@us.army.mil.

    That said, you can find someone in the same service to access whatever service websites whitepages to find his emai.  This should work rather effectively.

    Lastly, if you know the unit, you can ask them for the proper email direction or they might  contact him/her to contact you--much harder.

    Almost all military email ends in .mil

  2.   If you can contact the chaplin at his home base they will give you his contact info and ensure you two make contact again. that is what they are there for. He should contact you as soon as he has a spare moment, however if in a hot zone that could take a few days to weeks depending on his access to a internet connection.  If operational on patrol or on remote site he may not have web access.
