It is similar to Bavarian cuisine - just a bit less beer & sausages. "Knödel" (dumpling) might be one of the most popular meals, at least among tourists. Goulasch is sometimes also said to be Austrian, but actually, it comes from their neighbour, Hungary. You could also mention "Wiener Schnitz(e)l", it's thought to be Austrian because of its name (Wien = Vienna).
