Im going down to put my daughter on Medical. But im going down to the WIC office, because they will help me fill it out and the lady will fax it for me so it goes faster. It has been a year and a half since i had to apply for it and i cannot remember if i had to take my daughter too when i went? I wondering if i have to take my daughter. I know that they want you to bring the child when you go in for your monthly check up things and get the wic checks, but im not going in to do that, just filling out the medical papers. So i was wondering if anyone knows if you have to take the child. Also, if it makes any difference i live in Southern California, not sure if things are different in different states. Thanks.

  1. yes you do have to bring her.

  2. yes, bring her with you. They check her weight, and take a finger prick to check her iron.

  3. I would call them and ask. If you are jsut filling out paperwork probably not they may just need her ss# But call and ask just in case.

  4. Like I always say theres always one rude one in the crowd.  I guess it would be better for your daughter not to have health insurance huh?  RIGHT, SURE!!!

Anyways, if you are just filling out papers for medical and wic has nothing to do with it, then no you do not need to bring your daughter.

  5. Its best if you call them and ask them everything that you need to bring. They will give you a list of what needs to be brought in along with if you need to take your child as well.

    Good Luck!!
