Contact the Bangalore and Trivandrum City Hall or Tourist office and request this info.

Look up their site on the Internet (Email), or postal service.

The authority is call "state transport" but private carriers are also operating such services.

I suggest using a Luxury Air Condition Bus Service, if available.

There are lots of private buses running between Trivandrum and Bangalore. If you are in Bangalore, if you goto Madiwala there are lots of travels like KPN, Sharma, Shama which has buses from Bangalore to Trivandrum, As for the phone numbers you can search the yellow pages.
